About

Kenneth C. Wong, MBA, FACHE

Founder & Principal Consultant, KCA Consultants

On a mission to transform communities through health, education, and technology.

Kenneth has spent more than 25 years on every side of healthcare and beyond: launching products for payment technology startups, driving market development for pharmaceuticals and medical devices, leading business development, marketing, and brand teams, along with physician and community relations, for large health systems, teaching future business leaders, and leading volunteer organizations at the state and national level. He founded KCA Consultants in 2020 to put that range of experience to work for clients directly.

Experience

A 360° perspective

Most consultants know one side of a problem. Kenneth has worked inside the organizations that buy, the companies that sell, the classrooms that teach, and the boards that lead, so his advice accounts for how each of them actually decides.

Inside health systems

Business development, branding & community relations

Director-level leadership across three health systems, managing teams responsible for business development, marketing and brand strategy, and physician and community relations. The work spanned strategic planning, service line launches, physician network growth, population health outreach, and performance dashboards that leadership teams actually use, including a large public health system’s first community health needs assessment and implementation plan.

Inside life sciences

How hospitals evaluate and buy

Award-winning pharmaceutical and medical device market development with top-tier national rankings. Recognized nationally for launching successful products and service lines, he gives clients a practical view of how clinicians, supply chain, and executives make purchasing decisions.

In the classroom

Teaching that translates to results

University business school faculty teaching business and healthcare courses and mentoring students as they launch their careers, with a focus on skills people can apply the next day.

In practice since 2020
